Carolyn Noe is an informal science educator for an independent non-profit and the main
organizer for STL Nerdy Girls, a group of over 770 women (and men) exploring
nerd culture in St. Louis. She
received her MA in Museum Studies from the University of Missouri – St. Louis
and BS in Interdisciplinary Social Science from Florida State University.
Carolyn is a feminist who empowers women in geek and nerd communities to become leaders. She is interested in women's studies, leadership, creativity, productivity, museums, online learning, MOOCS, digital badges and beagles. Carolyn spends a few weekends throughout the year near Nashville, TN, visiting the love of her life.
